Squaremiled S.A. has received approval from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for our near-term science-based emissions reduction target. This aligns our climate action with the latest science and focuses on rapid, deep reductions this decade.
Ambition classification: aligned with a 1.5°C trajectory (SBTi’s most ambitious designation for SMEs).

Our commitment
Squaremiled S.A. commits to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 58.8% by 2034, from a 2024 base year. Squaremiled S.A. also commits to measure and reduce its Scope 3 emissions, in line with the SBTi’s SME criteria.
This approval covers our near-term target. It is not a net-zero claim and does not include carbon offsetting toward target achievement.
